Mahindra have introduced a new Scorpio Special Edition ahead of the festive season. Available at a price of Rs 11.88 lakhs (ex showroom Delhi) this BS IV compliant variant gets a host of trims, finishes and exclusive interior upholstery, and will be limited to just 500 units.
To be offered in an exterior finish of special Pearl White, Scorpio Special Edition will sit on chrome plated alloy wheels with racy decals which add a touch of class to the mighty monster. Interiors will sport a roof mounted 9” DVD player while other interior features boast of high gloss wood finish center bezel and seats done up in tan and beige European leather. Besides the seats, steering wheel, gear shift and gear knob are also leather covered.
Boasting of extensive safety features such as ABS, airbags, EST suspension, reverse parking assist and intelligent rain and light sensors, the Scorpio comes with Tyre-Tronic which is a special measuring system that keeps a track on exact air pressure and temperature of each tyre.
Scorpio Special Edition receives a highly fuel efficient 2.2 liter 4 cylinder mHawk diesel engine. This engine is capable of peak power of 120 bhp while it can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.7 seconds.
